How Does the Parent Study Protect My Information?

To make sure all the information you provide at any point in our study is safe, several layers of security are in place. Only well-trained researchers have access to the server where your data is held. All information stored on these servers is also protected and encrypted, making sure your information is secure at all times.

All staff members have signed legally binding agreements that guarantee they will not talk about any information for any reasons other than this research project. Additionally, the study has obtained a federal Certificate of Confidentiality which further protects your private information.

Your personal information will never be shared or sold. All information that could be used to identify you will be kept confidential and will be stored separately from the rest of your information.

All information you provide during the interview will be stored securely using the highest standards of security precautions and confidentiality.
